My Opinion About ShibariDolls

When it comes to BDSM there is nothing I can think of that is more thrilling than Japanese rope bondage. Well, okay, maybe there are a few other kinks that I adore indulging, but watching Asian damsels wincing from the most pleasurable kind of full sensory body high is an indescribable excitement for me. When I came across Shibari Dolls, I have to admit that my fantasies started running away with me, but sometimes what one imagines a site to be doesn't actually end up being reality.

ShibariDolls looks good from the outset, despite a rather expensive monthly membership fee. The members' area initially looks neat and organized, albeit a bit plain. However, it didn't take long to figure out that the membership is actually giving you full access to the entire Fetish Network, which offers over 40 BDSM and kink sites. The members' area turns out to be the network portal from where you can access everything else and believe me when I say there is a lot here.

Navigating the network isn't that bad. You can search by specific site names or you can search by categories, which aside from bdsm/bondage, include spanking, femdom, smothering, smoking, fisting, nylons/pantyhose, lesbian/latex and mixed kink. Once arriving on the Shibari Dolls members' page you'll find the most recent and the next update profiled front and center and this is followed by a thumbnail list of updates from newest to oldest. The good news is that you can also sort the scenes by most viewed or by video title from A to Z.


So far, there are 100 ShibariDoll scenes and you can expect at least one new movie every week, although the schedule has been a little erratic in the past. All the players appear to be Asian, so I dive into the archive thinking that these films might just be straight from Japan. Each title comes with a descriptive summary, but if you aren't into reading, then you can always check out the screencaps that are provided. As for the videos, you get low and high resolution Flash streams and MP4 downloads. The high-quality files can exceed 1GB and even the lower resolution movie files can hover around 800MB. Needless to say, downloads can require a bit of patience.

The scenes can last an average of 30 minutes and despite the file sizes, I was surprised that the best download was 1700kbps, 600x400. However, despite the seeming low quality, the movies look really great and the productions are excellent. I have to admit, the girls are pretty fabulous, as well.

Final Verdict

Those looking for a pure Japanese bondage experience will love Shibari Dolls. All the actors are Japanese and so is the dialogue and for those who know anything about Japanese bondage films, the censorship is par for the course. The quality, despite the bitrate and size, is excellent and the productions are really, really well done using both sexual suspense and to the point action. The site is a little expensive, but then fetish and BDSM sites usually tend to be a little pricier than the norm. The good thing is that for the price, you end up getting access to over 40 different fetish and BDSM sites and that's not bad in the least.
